Guide to Obtaining a PCC from Dubai For Former Residents Who Have Returned India

If you have left Dubai and are currently residing in India, follow these steps to apply for a PCC:

1. Cancelled Emirates ID or Attested Fingerprint Card
If You Have a Copy of a Canceled Emirates ID

A photocopy of a cancelled Emirates ID is still valid for obtaining a PCC.

If You Do Not Have a Copy of a Canceled Emirates ID

In this case, obtain a Fingerprint Card and get it attested. You can do this by acquiring a fingerprint card from your local police station in India. Then, get the fingerprint card attested by the UAE Embassy in India.

2. Gather the Required Documents

  • UAE Embassy attested fingerprint card
  • Two recent passport-sized photos
  • A copy of your valid passport
  • A copy of your last UAE visa

3. Submit Your Application Online

Upload the documents to the Ministry of Interior or Dubai Police online portals. Follow the instructions as shown on the screen to complete the application. The fees for obtaining a PCC from Dubai, as listed on the Dubai Police website, are as follows:

  • Citizens: AED 100
  • Residents: AED 200
  • Applicants Outside the UAE: AED 300 (approx. $88)
  • Additional Fees: AED 10 for knowledge fees, AED 10 for innovation fees, and AED 100 if applying in person through service centres.
