UAE Attestation New Rules (September 2025 Update)
In the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah), for work, higher education, business, or family purposes, you need your documents to be attested by the UAE embassy in India. From 2025, this process has changed.
Earlier, you had to get your documents attested by the UAE Embassy in India and then send them to the UAE for Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) attestation. Now, both steps are completed together in India, and instead of two stickers, you get one single-page certificate that proves your documents are valid in the UAE.
This saves time, cost, and effort — you don’t have to send your originals abroad. Here’s how the UAE embassy attestation works as per the new rules:
Step 1: Send Your Documents to Us
You just need to share your documents with us. Whether you’re in India or abroad, we can arrange pickup through our courier partners.
We attest all types of documents:
- Educational certificates (degrees, diplomas, transcripts)
- Personal documents (birth, marriage, divorce, single status)
- Business documents (company registrations, MOA, board resolutions, licenses)
Step 2: We Complete All Attestations
Once we receive your documents, we take care of every step:
- Notarization: Getting your documents verified by a notary
- State-level verification: HRD/SDM/Home Department/Chamber of Commerce, depending on your document type
- MEA Attestation: Final verification from the Ministry of External Affairs
You don’t need to visit any government office as we manage the process end-to-end and keep you updated at each step.
Step 3: UAE Embassy + MoFA Attestation
After MEA attestation, we submit your documents to the UAE Embassy/Consulate in India. Here, both Embassy attestation and MoFA attestation are completed together, and you receive a single-page attested certificate.
Once everything is done, we ship the attested documents back to you!
