SSC Attestation Procedure

There are 4 stages of verification needed to get your SSC verified and ready for use abroad.
Step1: Issuing authority and notarization is needed.
During the initial step, you have to reach out to your state board for initial verification of your SSC certificate, and then go to a notary public to secure notarization.
Next, you have to visit the Human Resource Development (HRD) of your state for further verification. They will validate your SSC certificate and stamp them. Depending upon your destination country, the embassy may ask for Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) verification as well.
The next step in the SSC attestation procedure includes visiting the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). They will check your certificate and put their unique stamp on it.
Finally, take your MEA-stamped Secondary School Certificate to the embassy of your destination country for a final check. Once the embassy attests your SSC certificate, you can use it in their jurisdiction.
